I picked up three bags of ‘P t Ate s’ and read it as p tate s,
I put it n the b tt m shelf f the cupb ard,
And l ked int the bags and saw s me p ts eating s,
And that is why there are n s in this rhyme!
(you might find it easier to read if you put the Os back in)

Last night was exciting, I got to stay up to watch the eclipse of the moon that was due. It was really cloudy for most of the evening but it cleared enough for us to see the eclipse.
AnnMarie was busy with her camera, taking moon pictures, so I decided to have a go too. I fetched the lightest tripod and my Canon compact digital camera. I had to try out different settings but after a while I took some pictures which AnnMarie has now processed for me.

There are 10 x 4 second pictures stacked together to make the picture above. To the left, there’s Saturn, the ringed planet and above the moon there’s Regulus. If you read Linda Chapman’s Stardust Fairy books, you’ll know just how special Regulus is.
We have a few years to wait until the next eclipse; wow that was exciting.

It’s a dark, creepy, stormy night; there’s strange sounds in the woods. A howling echoes around the valley and a dragon glows mysteriously in our house …

Yes that’s right I, Tamsin, have returned to Witchy form (just for Halloween you realise). Here’s our pumpkin for 2007, simple but depicting an animal close to our hearts …

We’ve played the spooky music, carved the pumpkin and had a wonderful supper. Now it’s time for our late night witching walk; what strange creatures might we see? Well I leave that to your imagination, but here’s a clue that I prepared earlier …
Ancestor or self-portrait? What do you think? Ha, Ha, Haaaaa…

Well the ground has come lovely, Snowy is keen and its a beautiful sunny evening; so what else to do but put some of my newly improved skills together and pop around a combined show jumping and cross country course.
I think I’ll more or less let the pictures speak for themselves:
Warming Up
Cross Poles
The Double
Take Off
Jacob’s Cross
The Log
The Rail
And Pallets to finish the round.
Well a lot of pictures I know but it was such great fun!
